OVERVIEW
Our client, Australia’s fastest growing supplement company Elite Supplements, is currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join their growing team. Within this role, you will perform a range of HR duties and lead compliance of the business from a HR and payroll perspective.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research, develop and implement such HR policies and organizational strategies that boost and improve the work environment for employees.
- Works on the development and implementation of employee benefits and compensation plans.
- Lead initiatives to maintain and boost culture.
- Work on compliance of current HR policies and employment handbooks.
- Analyze the performance metrics of recruitment drives and provide insights and suggestions to improve the HR recruitment process.
- Assist upper management and the retail arm with in-house recruitment drives to attract the right talent for business needs.
- Collaborate with our finance team on payroll matters and provide sound advice on legislation as appropriate.
- Analyze HR statistics and metrics like employee performance, turnover, retention, and cost per hire rate.
- Maintain the law and assure that the processes comply with the federal and state laws.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
- Formal qualifications in Human Resource Management.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws for HR and payroll processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and word).
- Working knowledge of Google Docs.
- Good record keeping skills.

- Prior knowledge of project and task management tools such as Basecamp, Trello or Teamwork (not essential)
