Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an Organisational Change Officer to join their office on a contractual basis. The Department is currently implementing a significant structure change from manually receiving, processing and distributing information to an online tool. Within this role, you will assist in moving the organisation and its stakeholders from current state to future state with least amount of resistance.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to; Facilitating business areas to identify impact, transition plans and actions needed to mitigate the impact of change Identifying what the internal and external stakeholders need to know and do differently in order to implement the required changes Working with business areas of the program to integrate change management activities Providing senior staff support in communicating anticipated changes Setting up a support desk for external stakeholders Creating content in line with communications action plans Working with relevant teams to develop products and tools to ensure changes are implemented effectively Developing content in line with requirements including user documentation, intranet pages, documentation for a help desk and in system text
To be successful in this position, you will possess; Knowledge of organisational change management methodologies and tools Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated experience in the implementation of organisational and process changes relating to the introduction of new technology solutions Well-developed problem solving skills Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
