Contract through to 30 June 2021 | Canberra City Location | Hourly rate of $56 - $62 plus superannuation
Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Program Officer to join their office at the APS6 level. Within this role, you will be responsible for the program development, implementation and management. This will involves liaising with stakeholders and reporting on the programs progress.
Your responsibilities will also include, but not limited to; Contributing to policy discussions and development in priority areas Providing high quality written advice, briefings, reports, guidelines, committee papers, correspondence and communications material Collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders Utilising relevant data to prepare a range of reports for different audiences
The ideal candidate would possess; Demonstrated ability to understand complex problems and develop solutions Demonstrated project management experience Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Initiative and good judgement, with the ability to think critically and strategically
Previous experience and a good working knowledge of employment services would be highly advantageous.
This is a security assessed position. Applicants must be an Australian citizen, with successful candidate either holding or having the ability to obtain a Baseline Australian Government security clearance or undergo other employment suitability checks.
