Our well-known Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Funding Arrangement Manager to join their team on a contractual basis. Under general direction, you will be required to manage of large caseload of Funding Arrangements to achieve better outcomes for communities.
Your responsibilities will include; Assist in the management and delivery of projects and processes including design, implementation, quality assurance and review Making decisions within the defined parameters relating to the management of grants Understanding legislation, procedures and guidelines and the way they are interpreted and applied Undertake risk assessments and identify appropriate action (escalation, decision making, etc.) Liaising with external and internal stakeholders to resolve queries Undertaking analysis activities relating to funding arrangements and write evidence based reports to develop recommendations
To be successful, you will possess the following; Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Strong IT proficiency in Microsoft Suite including intermediate to high Excel skills Ability to quickly grasp different databases Ability to understand contracting including Funding Arrangements Strong analytical skills
Previous experience in a similar role within a government setting would be highly advantageous.
