Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced end to end Procurement Manager. You will be providing technical, professional and policy advice as well as assist with strategic planning, program and project management and policy development.
Your responsibilities: Perform end to end procurement activities Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management and risk assessment activities Providing accurate and specialised advice including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management Set priorities for the work area, maintaining team cohesion and ensuring quality of output for the work area Contribute to the development of team objectives for short term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term initiatives
Your background: Demonstrated knowledge of end to end procurement activities Demonstrated knowledge of Commonwealth IT systems, SAP and purchasing and finance management systems Hold a Certificate IV in Government Procurement and Contracts or something similar Knowledge of legislative, financial and administrative frameworks, government decision-making processes and agency guidelines and regulations Ability to perform management responsibilities including setting of priorities and managing workflow
Please note this opportunity does require the occasional travel to other NDIA office locations to meet with various teams across the organisation.
