Our well known Federal Government client is currently seeking an APS6 Senior Provider Information Officer to join their team. Within this role, you will develop and implement communication strategies, proactive communication planning and translate complex subject matter into simple formats so that is easily understood and informative.
Your responsibilities will include; Communication planning, development and management across various projects and various channels Support in the development of effective internal and external communications Performance reporting and analysis and providing improvement strategies and their implementation Lead communication projects that simplify and communicate complex information Build internal relationships to assist in the development and implementation of communication activities and ensure they align with the broader communication strategy Contribute to new ways to engage external stakeholders Coordinate and develop executive level briefs and respond to correspondence as required
To be successful in this position, you will possess; Qualifications and or demonstrated experience in a communications field Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communication and negotiate effectively Ability to work across programs and adapt quickly to a constantly changing environment Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver end-to-end projects Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
