Operations Manager

Our client, a high profile peak body representing business interests in Australia is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide outstanding operational management of the organisation whilst reporting directly to the CEO. This is an operational management position with significant exposure to the organisation’s advocacy and public policy development.

This role is an excellent development opportunity for the successful candidate to potentially develop as a successor to the CEO.

Key duties for the role will include to:

  • Public policy and advocacy co-ordination
  • Management of business operations
  • Risk management
  • Reporting to the board on financial and activity reporting
  • Actively engaging government stakeholders and preparing government submissions

    Previous experience in a role with a high level of understanding of the mechanism of government, national public policy and regulation would be highly regarded.

    This is a permanent position and the salary is approximately $100k per year plus super (depending on skills and experience).
