APS6 Senior Partner Relationships Officer

  • $51.50 per hour plus superannuation
  • 5 month contract with the possibility of extension

    Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an APS6 Senior Partner Relationships Officer to join their growing team in Parramatta. As the Senior Partner Relationships Officer you will be responsible for supporting the Assistant Director and Stakeholder Managers. The role will monitor and guide the relationships with external stakeholders based on their Region. You will be required to have an understanding of the principles of community inclusion and capacity building of people supported by the Department when guiding the focus and quality of the work of external stakeholders. You will possess sound relationship management and engagement experience, strong negotiation and liaison skills and superior communications, organisational skills and contract management skills in a human service delivery context. It is highly desirable for you relevant qualifications in human services, allied health, disability or demonstrated experience.

    Duties will include:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders in business units across the Department
  • Develop effective working relationships to drive performance and quality outcomes from external stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on the performance of external stakeholders including monitoring and reporting of KPI’s, reviewing performance management reports and identifying trends and concerns with external stakeholder performance
  • Identify, monitor and actively manage issues and risks by implementing corrective actions
  • Respond to complaints and quality assurance issues about external stakeholders and manage their complaints according to established Departmental processes
  • Facilitate meetings with external stakeholders to share strategies for achieving outcomes for people supported by the Department

    This is a security assessed position. Applicants must be an Australian citizen, with successful candidate either holding or having the ability to obtain a Baseline Australian Government security clearance or undergo other employment suitability checks.
