EL1 Governance and Reporting Lead

Daily rate: $520 ex Super

Overview: Our client, a high profile federal government department is seeking an experienced Governance and Reporting Lead to manage governance processes on a high profile program including facilitating the operation of governing bodies and satisfaction of internal reporting requirements


  • Managing the reporting process (including clearance by relevant stakeholders) for program and agency governance groups
  • Coordinate across the agency to produce relevant, timely and accurate reporting
  • Ensure program reporting activities adhere to agency standards and frameworks
  • Ensure program governance processes, program decision making framework and terms of reference for governance bodies are adhered to
  • Ensure program governance activities adhere to agency standards and frameworks
  • Manage and review preparation of meeting materials for program governance groups
  • Manage and review preparation of meeting minutes for program governance groups
  • Management of governance analyst resource
  • Liaise and support relevant program staff to raise change requests
  • Manage the change control process and monitor workflow to ensure that the change request is submitted to the relevant governance body
  • Perform quality review of change request and liaise with relevant program staff to communicate data expectations
  • Facilitate preparation of change requests for endorsement by governance bodies

    Skills and Attributes:

  • Supervision/coaching experience.
  • Leadership skills, capabilities and behaviours
  • Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team, including developing staff and managing performance, and adapt quickly to a changing environment.


  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong coordination and attention to detail
  • Proficient writing skills and strong communication

    Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates and dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.
