EL1 HR Policy Writer

Our Federal Government client, based in Woden, is seeking an EL1 HR Policy Writer to assist the Workplace Behaviours and Conditions Section in redesigning their policies and procedures for managing workplace behaviour. The contract starts first week of May through to 30 June 2019, with a possible 6 month extension.

The role is responsible for:

  • Planning, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures for managing workplace behaviour
  • Planning, development and implementation of HR procedures for managing enhanced remuneration

    The role requires:

  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge of HR management processes and understanding of relevant employment legislation
  • Demonstrated ability to research, interpret and apply legislation, policies and guidance material
  • Proven ability to write policies and procedures
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders including the ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external clients
  • Well-developed planning skills
