EL1 Change Manager – Geelong Location

Our client is seeking an experience Change Manager to design and implement change for this departments next stage in their change journey.

The Change Manager will report to the change lead and will be allocated portfolios and projects to manage within the Program. This opportunity will be offered on an hourly rate contract through until EOFY with the option to extend.

Your duties will include:

  • Identification and analysis of stakeholders likely to be impacted by change;
  • Determine the scope and impacts of business change, including the development of formal business impact assessments;
  • Conduct and facilitate change planning sessions, document outcomes and recommendations;
  • Assess business readiness and facilitate business readiness
  • Provide change support through activities including; communications, training and development, leadership support, stakeholder engagement and transitions to business as usual

    To be considered for this role candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in planning and conducting workplace or organisational change for service delivery in a large or complex organisation
  • Experience in facilitating change planning; including stakeholder identification, business impact analysis, change management planning and reporting;
  • Demonstrated change management and project management experience, couple with relevant qualifications
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with peers and teams
  • Capable of working collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Flexibility to work in complex, dynamic environments

    It is desirable that applicants have;

  • Formal training and qualifications in workplace and organisational change (Prosci or similar);
  • Experience planning and leading change in a public sector environment;
  • Experience planning and coordinating business-side change activities associated with business system and ICT changes;
  • Training and/or experience in customer focused techniques and work practices.
