$50 to $55 per hour dependent on experience
Our Federal government client, based in Parramatta, is seeking multiple candidates at the APS 6 level starting March 2019 until 30 June 2019 to manage a portfolio of internal review requests.
The Case Officers will examine all relevant documentation relating to a request for review, request further information and consult with internal advisors where necessary to develop a recommendation. You will develop a recommendation on a decision in response to the request, including collating the relevant supporting documentation and drafting reasons for the decision.
The successful applicants will be required to: Liaise directly with participants of the program and their representatives, as well as speaking with regional staff where necessary
Knowledge and experience of working with people with disabilities and an understanding and knowledge of disability and its impact on individuals is essential.
A background in administrative law or experience in claims management or assessment would be highly regarded.
Studies in law would also be highly regarded, however this is not a legal role.
Applicants must be an Australian citizen, with successful candidates being required to undergo entry level employment suitability checks.
