Our Federal Government client based in Geelong is seeking an experienced EL1 Assistant Director to work in their Business Assurance Branch assisting the Director of the Risk and Compliance team.
This is a contract position until 30 June 2019 with the possibility of a further 6 month extension.
The successful candidate will have managerial responsibilities for a team of Business Assurance Officers. You will have previous Business Assurance process experience ideally within a Government environment, however this is not mandatory. It would be highly desirable if you come from a risk or compliance background.
Some of the duties include: Lead a team to identify payment system control weaknesses and provide recommendations to address Lead a team to address business assurance related audit findings Lead a team to develop analytics/reports to identify payment anomalies Provide input in the preparation of advice including briefs and business intelligence reporting
To be successful in this position, you must be competent with IT systems including SAS and Microsoft Excel.
