EL1 Executive Officer, Branch Operations – GEELONG

Our client, a Federal Government department is seeking an EL1 Executive Officer to join their dynamic team based in Geelong, Victoria.

This position will be offered on a contract basis until 30 June 2019 with the possibility of a further 6 month extension.

Some of the duties include:

  • Undertake research and investigations for the Branch Manager and prepare executive correspondence, briefs, reports and advice in a timely manner.
  • Develop, implement and review the Branch Budget
  • Coordinate the end-to-end life-cycle of parliamentary document records across the Branch
  • Support or prepare a variety of communications materials and resources

    The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous APS experience at the EL1 level
  • Experience in preparing executive correspondence, briefs and reports
  • PDMS & CRM experience would be highly desirable

    Experience in professional writing and/or program reporting would be beneficial to succeed in this role.
