We have 2 fantastic opportunities for APS 6 Business Assurance Officers to join our Federal Government client based in Geelong, Victoria on a contract basis. The contract will be offered until 30 June 2019 with the possibility of a further 6 month extension.
Located within the Operations & Performance branch of the department, the Business Assurance Officers have responsibility for the following tasks: Developing, implementing and testing first line risk functions Business Assurance control testing for payments Ensuring the branch’s risk register is up to date Undertake control testing for risks identified in the risk register
To be successful in this position, candidates must possess: Strong Microsoft Excel skills Previous business assurance experience preferably within a government environment Strong communication skills both written and verbal Ability to synthesise and analyse information and make decisions
