Our client is seeking and experienced candidate with outstanding experience in community engagement and program delivery for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.
The position is a supporting leadership position within the Department and within the branch that focuses on community engagement. It will contribute to the strategic planning of the department’s objectives and its strategic direction. It will also develop long-term plans and implement operational strategies aimed at achieving the departments mission. This will include supporting the Director to provide strategic leadership, direction and support to a team to effectively engage with people with disability, their families and carers using a nationally consistent engagement approach across a diverse geographic environment.
You will be required to:
Previous experience delivering quality programs in the disability, health or community sectors with a government setting would be highly regarded.
