Our client, a Commonwealth government department is seeking experienced Ministerial/ Parliamentary officers at the APS4 level. These roles are being offered for an immediate start until 30 June 2018 with a strong possibility of a long term extension.
Register correspondence in timely manner and liaise with Business Areas to coordinate responses. Assist departmental staff as required in procedures and processes relating to Ministerial Correspondence. Manage and undertake the process of despatch of Ministerial Correspondence in a timely manner. Assist with the monitoring of work area inbox. Provide general admin assistance to the work area as required. Undertake quality checking of ministerial correspondence.
You will have strong administrative and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in the use of the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS) is essential.
