Our client, an ACT Government department is looking for a SOG A Senior Manager to join their busy and dynamic team based in the Canberra City.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the business strategy, financial management and administrative functions of the area. A business degree or similar and minimum 3 years’ experience is highly desirable.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage and accountability for the performance, development and wellbeing of the Branch
  • Delivery of a portfolio of business support functions including transactional service to customers, audit and governance, data collection, business analysis and advice, ICT business systems and delivery of related projects.
  • Manage and coordinate budget management and reporting.
  • Develop and implement internal control systems to ensure key accountabilities are met

    Previous experience in a senior position in a government department is essential.
