APS 5/6 Forum Coordinator - Small Business Policy

Our client, a new statutory agency working with small business policy, is seeking a Forum Coordinator for a period of 3 months with the possibility of extension.

The position will require the successful candidate to facilitate and manage the delivery of outcomes related to the industry working groups associated with the Policy Forum.

Responsibilities include:

  • assisting with administrative and facilitative work related to the running of the policy forum working groups
  • assisting with event organisation such as meetings or workshops, including assisting with coordinating working group papers, responses and reports
  • providing support for an advocacy team’s activities, which may include: the next policy forum and related events and/or other types of departmental briefs; correspondence and other communications and reporting duties, as required.

    A background in small business policy combined with an events background would be highly regarded.

    This is a security assessed position. Applicants must be an Australian citizen, with successful candidate either holding or having the ability to obtain a Baseline Australian Government security clearance or undergo other employment suitability checks.
