APS5 Procurement/Building Relocation Officer

Our Government client is seeking an experienced APS5 Procurement/Building Relocation Officer for a 3 months contract commencing on 18 September 2017.

To be successful in this position you will be required to have strong administrative and organisational skills including the ability to work independently.

  • EL1 – El2 – Capital Works Grants Assessor

    Short term contract from late November for approximately 4 weeks. Our Commonwealth government department is seeking an assessor at the EL 1 or EL 2 level, for up to a month in late November/early December, with the experience and capability to assess capital works grant applications. The assessor is responsible for providing a report on the feasibility and value for money components of each applicant’s capital support project. The assessor will review the entire application, including attachments and provide advice for consideration by the Expert Panel.

    The following attachments will be assessed by the Capital Works Assessor for Capital Support applications:

  • Budget Proposal Template
  • Evidence of land/building ownership or permission from the land/building owner to implement proposal.
  • Simple floor plan

    The assessor must demonstrate they have relevant experience and qualifications to be able to assess capital works grant applications.

  • Senior Data Analyst

    Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst for a 6 -12 month contract commencing October 2017.

    To be successful in this role, you will have a proven record in exercising both initiative and judgement in the interpretation and analysis of data and policy and possess a high level of communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

    Duties include: • Develop and implement annual, quarterly and periodic data and information publications in line with the teams work plans

    • Identify options for information sharing solutions, comprehend and write technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences including business cases, requirements specifications, process description and procedures, end user and testing documentation and governance processes

    • Participate with other teams to support data requirements, and build relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain

    • Interrogate and manipulate data from multiple sources to produce reports that support sector and management outcomes.

    Relevant tertiary qualifications and or experience working in the clinical/health industry is highly desirable.

    Security Clearance: This is a security assessed position. Applicants must be an Australian citizen, with successful candidate either holding or having the ability to obtain a Baseline Australian Government security clearance or undergo other employment suitability checks.

    APS5/6 Secretariat

    This position will suit someone with previous Secretariat experience in an APS environment.

    Some of the duties include but are not limited to:

    APS 6 Senior Communications Officer - Baseline Clearance

    Our client, a large centrally located federal government department is seeking an experienced Communication Officer for an initial period of 4 months with the possibility of a 6 month extension.

    You will be working within the department’s Communication Branch which supports the Minister’s Office, the departmental executive and business areas within the department on a wide range of communication issues. These include media liaison and monitoring, internal and program communication, speech writing, events management and public information campaigns.

    The successful candidate will be required to: • coordinate the interagency monthly communication meetings including noting actions. • coordinate the logistics and product development for the Jobs Fairs. • oversee engagement with the employment provider communication network. • help with development of some products including banners and social media advertising. • assist with external agency programs to help identify effective communication • assist with the development of innovative methods to engage with job seekers about a range of programs and support the development of campaigns, as required.

    Essential skills will include:

    • An understanding of communication principles developing, implementing and evaluating integrated communication strategies • Project management • High level communication skills

    At level communications experience in a government setting would be highly regarded.
