APS 4 Executive Assistant for 3 months starting ASAP in the Canberra City

This position will be supporting 1 SES Executive.

Duties will include:

  • International Travel Booking
  • Diary Management
  • Booking meetings

    You will build resources to deliver self-paced, online and face-to-face training. Some duties include but are not limited to:

  • Understand and deliver training through webinars and face-to-face presentations

  • APS 5 Client Survey Officer

    Our client, a high profile federal government department is looking to fill an APS5 Client Survey Officer position, commencing 30 July 2018 for a 3 month period.

    Applicants with relevant experience in social research surveys (quantitative) and ethics committees should apply. A knowledge of social, demographic or outcomes survey methodologies is highly desired.

    The Duties of the role will include:

    • Develop material to support an ethics process;

    • Draft communications and training material;

    • Understand and provide advice on social research surveys;

    APS 5 – Secretariat Support Officer

    Our client, a centrally located Commonwealth government department is seeking an experienced APS 5 Secretariat Officer for an early August start. This role is a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension.

    Key responsibilities of the position include:

    • The position is based in a small section that coordinates the provision of information, and monitors the status of various reviews, studies and pilots

    • The role involves secretariat support, including writing, administration, coordination of meetings and some research tasks.

    Job requirements

    • Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

    • An understanding of the public sector with some experience in policy or strategy

    • Experience providing secretariat support to committees

    APS 3 Finance/Procurement – Baseline Clearance

    Our client, a high profile federal government department is seeking a strong finance and procurement candidate at the APS 3 level until end of October 2018 with the possibility of multiple extensions.

    The role will include undertaking general finance and administrative tasks including assisting with procurement processes and processing invoices.

    This is a security assessed position. Applicants must be an Australian citizen, with successful candidates holding a Baseline Australian Government security clearance and a willingness to undergo additional employment suitability checks which may require you to undergo random workplace drug and alcohol testing.

    APS 6 – Contracts and Project

    Our client, a centrally located federal government Department is seeking an experienced APS 6 for approximately 6 months.

    The suitable candidate will have extensive experience in a federal government department working in a similar role. The role will project manage some key projects in the clinical adviser and medical and allied health space. Must have project management skills, be assertive and meet tight deadlines.

    Some of the duties for the role will include:

  • Project manage procedural documentation co/redesign process for stakeholder providers and alignment with departmental fact sheets.
  • Manage Prior Approvals short to long term improvements
  • Assist Director as required drafting briefs, ministerials and briefing papers
  • Lead own business improvement activities and/or support Governance/Clinical Advisor business improvement activities

    A background in a health related department would be highly regarded.

    Australian citizenship is essential.
