APS6 Administration Officer

Our government client is seeking an experienced Administration Officer at the APS 6 level commencing ASAP for a period of 6 months.

The key functions of the position include coordinating business support activities for reporting, policy, auditing and governance. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to identity and interpret relevant and applicable legislation, polices, and strategies. You will be able to take initiative to work independently as well as work in a team and to be able to engage with business stakeholders as required and directed.

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel would be highly beneficial. Candidates must have experience in a similar role at the APS 6 level or equivalent.

This is a security assessed position. Applicants must be an Australian citizen, with successful candidate either holding or having the ability to obtain a Baseline Australian Government security clearance or undergo other employment suitability checks.

Treatment Coordinator – Permanent Part-time

  • 8am to 5pm, 4 days – 32 hours per week, with a rotating day off Monday and Friday ie.     The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organised and systematic, with strong relationship management skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising and building rapport with patients and families
  • Working alongside orthodontists during initial consultation
  • Help explain the treatment recommended, costs involved and further appointments
  • Support treatment planning by the specialists (scheduling and providing more information if required to the patient)
  • Take new patient enquiries
  • Letter and email correspondence
  • Support the clinic and reception teams where required


  • Previous exposure to orthodontics or dental highly regarded
  • Must have worked in a Receptionist, Customer Service or Hospitality role or similar that required a high level of customer service
  • Positive, caring and mature minded
  • Hard working, reliable and responsible
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Enthusiastic and motivated
  • Proficient in using MS-Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel etc)

    This role will be floating between 2 practices – 1 in Belconnen and the other in the Parliamentary Triangle.

  • Archivist

    Our Client, an award winning Property Development Company, is looking for an experienced Archivist to join their Canberra team on a Permanent Full time basis.

    The Archivist will organise, control and coordinate the strategic and operational management of the business's Archives and Record Management.

    You must be able to demonstrate the following in your resume:

  • Thorough understanding of best practice in archive procedures and records management

  • Previous experience in appraisal, arrangement, description and sentencing of active and inactive records

  • Knowledge of preservation and conservation principles

  • High level of integrity and discretion

  • Previous experience in a similar position

  • High level of computer literacy using programs such as, Microsoft office, Dropbox & Wrike

  • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy

    The annual salary is $70,000 plus super depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
