Essential

Switchboard Operator – ACT Government

We have an opportunity within a Health related area working within a busy Switchboard team with an immediate start. The role is being offered for an initial 3 months with possible extension. This is a 7 day rotating roster for up to 73.00 hours per fortnight with shifts between 7:00 am to 10:30pm, this includes weekends and public holidays.

We are looking for a candidate with previous switchboard experience ideally within the medical industry or have experience working in an inbound contact centre combined with good administrative skills, exceptional communication, strong customer service skills and a great team work ethic.

You must be able to demonstrate the following requirements in your resume: Good knowledge of a variety of IT systems and ability to pick up new systems and learn new databases and procedures quickly. The ability to deal with high pressure situations. A high level of attention to detail.

$25 to $30 per hour depending on skills and experience.
