APS4 Planning Assurance Officer

Our well-known Federal Government client is currently seeking multiple Planning Assurance Officers to join their team on a contractual basis. As a Planning Assurance Officer, you will assist internal staff in performing their duties within the Departments’ guidelines and procedures, ensuring technical knowledge pertaining to key planning decisions is of high quality.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • High quality record keeping whilst adhering to process guidelines and standard operating procedures
  • Researching and reviewing decisions with routine cases and having assistance with more complex cases
  • Providing support and mentoring to enhance team development including increasing quality of decision-making, technical skills and knowledge
  • Monitoring and analysing outcomes and adherence to process to identify trends, tailoring training and support to improve results
  • Supporting leadership to develop and implement improvement strategies
  • Engaging with stakeholders to promote services and functions

  • APS5 Internal Investigations Officer

    Our prominent Federal Government client is currently seeking multiple Internal Investigations Officers to join their team on a contractual basis. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of the internal investigation program. You will be working in a team to capture opportunities and prevent, detect and respond to fraud and corruption matters, including providing support for reviews and investigations.

    Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to;

  • Implementing and maintaining a robust and intelligence-led integrity strategy
  • Promoting awareness of the integrity, fraud and corruption frameworks
  • Reviewing and reporting on staff integrity related matters and providing analysis of the findings and outcomes
  • Reporting and refining business policies and procedures on staff integrity related matters and driving improvement of the investigation function

  • APS6 Fraud Investigator

    Our Federal Government client currently seeking multiple Fraud Investigators at the APS5 and APS6 level. Within this role, you will be responsible in undertaking investigations of potential fraud, unauthorised access, misconduct and other criminal offences. You will be required to contribute and lead in different investigation types, using initiative and discretion in the interpretation of policy and the application of practices and processes.

    Your responsibilities will include;

  • Analysing and processing information to produce accurate and informative reports
  • Conducting formal and informal discussions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertaking and managing complex and sensitive investigations
  • Gathering evidence from a range of sources and prepare high quality briefs of evidence
  • Preparing cases for referral to relevant parties
  • Providing evidence in criminal and civil court as a representative
