APS4 Data Analyst

Our client, a federal government department, is seeking a Data Analyst with experience in VBA, Java, HTML, CSS. Contract until 30 June 2018.

The successful candidate will have advanced MS Excel knowledge and the use of VBA in spreadsheet development and the Application of programming languages (VBA, Java, HTML, CSS etc.)

You will be required to undertake research tasks, prepare written material, and maintain accurate records and files such as reporting spread sheets. Also you will be required to assist in the development of data-visualisations using the Department’s software.

Tertiary qualifications in Science, Business or Information Technology would be highly regarded.


Risk Analyst

We are looking for a Risk Analyst to join a big 4 consulting firm based in Canberra.

Focusing on the biggest risk to organisations, you will be part of a team that brings skills in data sourcing and analytics methods.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Australian Citizenship with an active Security Clearance (or ability to obtain a Security Clearance)
  • Bachelor degree or higher qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce or equivalent field(s)
  • A technical grounding in SQL (SQL Server), or SAS (Enterprise Miner), or other programming languages
  • Experience in working with data from enterprise systems (e.g. FMIS, HRIS, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in following systems and procedures

    This is a permanent position and the salary range is from $60,000 to $90,000 depending on skills and experience.


  • APS 6 Pharmacist

    Our client a commonwealth department is seeking an experienced APS6 Pharmacist for an immediate start. Contract is until 30 June 2018 with a possible 12 month extension.

    Duties

  • Undertaking evaluations of documents, applications and submissions.
  • Assisting with streamlining of applications to ensure efficient processes and deadlines are met.
  • Liaising, engaging and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex and/or sensitive issues in relation to compliance with legislation, regulations and standards.
  • Drafting written scientific and/or technical documentation and correspondence with stakeholders.
  • Undertaking research and analysis activities and maintaining a good professional knowledge of and expertise in pharmacy practice in Australia, adopted regulatory guidelines, standards promulgated in Australia and the scientific literature as it relates to the functions of the position.
  • Implementation of reform work and business process improvement.

    To be successful you must hold a degree in pharmacy and be registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.

  • APS 5/6 Intelligence Officer - Baseline Clearance

    Our client, a high profile federal government department is seeking an experienced intelligence officer for an initial period of 6 weeks.

    The Intelligence Officer assists the Intelligence Manager to maintain and develop the department’s intelligence function, in support of the department’s engagement, deterrence, detection and enforcement activities.

    The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Collect, record, evaluate and disseminate anti-doping information and intelligence at the tactical and operational level
  • Support relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

    Previous experience and knowledge of intelligence methodologies as well as knowledge of statutory, regulatory and policy frameworks, with a demonstrated ability to interpret and apply governance is essential. Experience in using Wynyard or an Intelligence Case Management system is essential.
