APS 5 Project Officers

    Our Federal Government client is seeking two experienced APS 5 Project Officers assist with providing technical advice and support in regards to insurance related programs and projects.

    Your responsibility:

  • Supporting the Project Lead with the program scope, development, implementation and reporting
  • Maintaining the project plans, schedules, risks and issues logs and performance reports in line with the program management framework
  • Monitor and review the program and project activities against the plans
  • Assisting with developing solutions to issues affecting the delivery of the program

    Your background:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a project/ program environment within the APS
  • Demonstrated research and report writing skills
  • Ability to synthesis and analyse complex information to be able to make an informed decision
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships

  • EL1 Integrated Project Planning and Control Lead - Geelong

    Daily rate: $520

    Overview: Manage efficient and effective project delivery, providing control over the Program and alignment of program planning and reporting.

    Duties:

  • On-going maintenance and development of schedules for multiple delivery streams
  • Oversight, training and governance over participant projects in the Microsoft PPM tool
  • Optimisation of critical path reports and management of program interdependencies
  • Responsible for the logistics of weekly program Planning, Control and Reporting workshops and support the facilitation of the workshop
  • Responsibility for the Program Roadmap and other key schedule artefacts
  • Production of program level status reports and dashboard views
  • Coordinating with scrum masters/project managers for work progress/status
  • Conduct risk control activities around schedule and mitigation strategies to manage slippage

    Required skills and attributes:

  • Supervision/coaching experience.
  • Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team, including developing staff and managing performance, and adapt quickly to a changing environment.
  • Experience working with Agile and Waterfall
  • Expert Microsoft Project Professional Scheduler
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience
  • Experience with PPM tool

  • EL2 Service Design Lead

    Our client, a high profile federal government department based in Geelong is seeking an experienced Service Designer Lead for a period of 11 months.

    The role will be accountable for team planning and prioritisation in line with program goals and will exercise a level of discretion with respect to how procedures and guidelines are interpreted and applied.

    Experience and an understanding of or a lived experience in the field of disability would be highly regarded.

    Duties:

  • Collaboratively lead the development of a roadmap of design-led initiatives that will enable the service outcomes of the program, including the research, analysis and identification of service challenges and opportunities, envisioning new service concepts and planning a program of work.
  • Developing and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams and in utilising Human Centered Design, Lean and Agile delivery methods
  • Leading and designing research activities (quantitative and qualitative) with a broad section of people to inform current state experience and pain points to identify service enhancement requirements
  • Leading teams to design and present future state experiences through journey mapping, business process mapping, and development of design artefacts such as design briefs, acceptance criteria, blueprints, personas, journeys, scenarios and roadmaps
  • Champion person centric decision-making methods within the team and the broader business

    Requirements:

  • Be accountable for planning and leading the design teams activities in support of the program, project and team outcomes
  • Encourage innovative approaches to design techniques, enabling the design team to embrace different angles to a design problem
  • Be required to provide detailed technical, professional and policy advice and support in relation to the design of program products

    The Senior Process Analyst will be responsible for the mapping, modelling, analysing and improving internal and externally facing processes across the organisation.

    Duties: As a Senior Process Analyst you will be required to:

  • Review assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks relating to the program you are assigned to and identify opportunities to improve efficiency of the process resulting in better participant experience.
  • Work with the Business Owners to develop and implement ‘To-Be’ process maps and artefacts to embed lasting process change.
  • You will be required to design and document end–end process design across all service delivery, corporate and engagement areas.
  • Document high quality process maps to be embedded within the enterprise Business Process Modelling tool and following our process improvement methodology
  • Facilitate and support workshops, working with stakeholders to define process, identify current issues and develop future state process maps.
  • Help business users to understand the process maps and gain agreement on potential future state solutions.
  • Perform gap analyses on existing written procedures.

    Qualifications and Experience

  • Experienced in project and change management approaches to deliver and embed change
  • Expertise in Business Process Modelling mapping end to end business processes
  • Advanced levels of competency and experience in data analysis, statistical software and business intelligence tools (MS Excel, desired: SAS VA, Tableau or PowerBI)
  • Lean Six Sigma – minimum Green Belt qualification.
  • Project and Change management – certification or hands on working knowledge of e.g. Agile, PMP, Prince2, Prosci/ ADKAR
  • Business Process Modelling – experience with software and notation standards e.g. XSOL, BPMN2.0 or equivalent
  • Experience in planning, managing and facilitating workshops, Kaizen events

    Our well-known Federal Government client is seeking multiple Operational Risk Partners at the EL1 level to join their established team responsible for capturing opportunities to prevent, detect and respond to threats in delivering key objectives.

    Duties will include;

  • Contributing to the preparation of risk action plans, including facilitation of risk workshops to identify, assess and control risks;
  • Monitoring and analysing trends in mitigating risks, including risk treatment plans used to minimize potential exposure and harness opportunities;
  • Ensuring the delivery of high quality support, training and guidance with regards to the Departments risk management systems and processes;
