ASO5 Project Coordinator – ACT Government

Our ACT Government client is seeking a Project Coordinator at the ASO5 level for a 3 month contract starting early September 2018.

We are seeking candidates with knowledge around facility, property or infrastructure asset management and committed to WH&S practices. Possession of a white card or willingness to complete the required training will be required.

This position will be to undertake the collection and input of detailed data associated with school assets.

Other duties will include:

  • Monitor and report individual project activity levels.
  • Establish and maintain strong communication links with schools.
  • Assist in the preparation of correspondence, briefs and reports.

  • APS5 Social Media Officer

    Our client, a centrally located federal government department is looking to fill an APS5 Social Media Officer position, immediate start until end of December 2018.

    The successful candidate will assist the Social Media Manager with a number of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Checking the department’s social media channels
  • Responding to comments and queries
  • Scheduling of material
  • Social media content creation
  • Reporting
  • Event attendance for photos and/or video
  • Giving advice on social media trends

    In addition, the role will involve assisting in the development and implementation of high level social media strategies for varied subject matter targeted to a diverse range of audiences.

    Background with image and video editing would be helpful but not required. Experience in a similar role in a team environment highly desired.

    An attractive hourly rate will be offered to the successful candidate between $26 - $28 per hour plus superannuation depending on experience. This position will float between two locations. 1 within the parliamentary triangle and one in Belconnen.

    The APS6 Senior Human Resource Advisor is accountable for delivering operational and administrative results in accordance with the requirements of their work area and team plans. They will have an extensive understanding of the requirements of the position, as well as the legislative, regulatory and compliance frameworks that underpin its activities. They may provide detailed technical, operational, policy and procedural advice in relation to human resource (HR) issues which will include the development of strategies to resolve issues.

    The Senior HR Advisor will provide services to assist managers and employees to achieve the goals of the organisation by providing information and advice in one or more of the following areas:

    EL1 – Assistant Director – Learning & Development Operations

    Our client, a Federal Government Department, is seeking an experienced EL1 Assistant Director to join the Learning and Development Operations team as part of the Organisational Capability and Performance Branch. This role is a 12 month contract starting ASAP based in Geelong with a possible extension.

    Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this role is an integral part of a multi-disciplinary Branch leadership team, and is responsible for shaping the operations of the Organisational Capability and Performance Branch to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity and efficiency.

    The Assistant Director, Learning and Development Operations is responsible for:

  • Providing critical operational and systems support to service related teams within the Organisational Capability and Performance Branch, to deliver targeted objectives
  • Logistics planning, scheduling and resource management associated with learning and development deployment in a complex environment across multiple programs and projects
  • Working with intra-Branch stakeholders to define key L&D activities/deliverables and designing a service operations and continuous improvement framework
  • Analysing, tracking and reporting of key information and whole of Branch metrics (including dashboard management)
  • Integration of technology and business systems that support whole of branch operations (including Intranet, LMS, Talent Management System, EDRMS, Branch Inboxes and micro-learning platforms)

    To succeed in this role, ideally you will have:

  • 5 years proven experience leading service operations and continuous improvement deliverables.
  • Lean Design Thinking practices and Agile planning approaches.
  • A working knowledge of talent and learning management systems.
  • Project management certification.
  • Understanding and knowledge of disability and its impact on individuals.

    Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates and dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.
