APS6 Senior Technical Advisors

Our well known Federal Government client is currently seeking Senior Technical Advisors in multiple locations across Australia. You will provide a high level of technical advice to internal staff and internal stakeholders to assist in funding health related support.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Providing specialist advice on the most appropriate support for stakeholders in achieving the desired outcomes and assist with complex decision making
  • Creating solutions and supporting regional team members with stakeholders that have more complex requirements
  • Contribute to research within your area of expertise that informs of best practice service delivery and the preparation of relevant papers and recommendations
  • Contribute to policy and operational guidelines to maxmise the Departments’ performance

    Background;

  • Relevant qualifications in Nursing or Occupational Therapy
  • High level of written communication skills and record keeping abilities, with a high level of IT competency
  • Ability to analyse information to provide a high level of advice and make decisions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills

    It is highly desired that you have experience in either Occupational Therapy or Nursing plus experience in a similar role in a government setting.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Providing support to the team to achieve project activities including the initiation, planning and strategy, market approach, evaluation, negotiation and contract formation and contract execution
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the understanding of internal requirements
  • Understanding how changes impact the Partner’s contracts, statement of requirements and sourcing options from a commercial, legal and probity perspective
  • Assisting with the review of contract terms to align with legislative changes, policy updates, practice improvement or changing organisational priorities
  • Ensuring compliance in-line with legislation and regulatory requirements

    Your background:

  • APS 5: Demonstrated experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or contract management within the Public Sector
  • APS 6: Extensive leadership experience in a procurement, strategic sourcing or contract management role as well as hold a relevant business, accounting, legal or commerce degree qualification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing methodologies

    Our well known Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced data and process analyst to join their team. You will be responsible for the mapping, modelling, analysing and improving internal and external facing processes across the department.

    Your responsibilities will include;

  • Design and document end to end process design across all service delivery
  • Document high quality process maps that follow the process improvement
  • Facilitate and support discussions and workshops with stakeholders to identify current issues and develop future process maps
  • Develop materials to communicate and present opportunities to relevant stakeholders
  • Utilise data, process mining and statistical tools to analyse process performance and root cause analysis

    Your background;

  • Minimum 3 years' hands-on process re-engineering and continuous improvement experience
  • High level of experience in data analysis, statistical software and business intelligence tools
  • Demonstrated experience in project and change management approaches plus certification or working knowledge of Agile, PMP, Prince2, Prosci/ADKAR or similar
  • Expertise in Business Modelling mapping plus experience with software such as XSOL, BPMN 2.0 or equivalent

    Your responsibilities:

  • Providing support and advice to internal stakeholders during the recruitment and on-boarding processes
  • Complete recruitment and on-boarding activities and projects within set timeframes including:

    - Advertising internal EOI vacancies

    - Providing verbal offers of employment and sending formal written offers

    - Providing onboarding documents and check accurate completion on return

    - Action variations and extension requests

  • Record all activities to maintain and manage recruitment processes through eRecruit and Excel
  • Complete regular audits of the on-boarding status spreadsheet

    Your background:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a human resource environment within the Australian Public Sector
  • Hold a current tertiary qualification or thorough experience in a HR, Onboarding or Recruitment role
  • You will have an understanding of core APS HR legislative, APSC policy and current Enterprise Agreement requirements
  • Good knowledge of SAP GUI and e-Recruit HR system or similar
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
