IT Teachers Aide

Our client, a private IT firm based in South Canberra, is looking for a Teacher’s Aide to assist and support the head teacher with the delivery of training plans.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, designing and implementing curriculum.
  • Assist with policy writing and developing training materials.
  • Provide assistance in preparing lesson plans.
  • Deliver instruction in the absence of lead teacher.
  • Maintain student records and perform other clerical tasks.

    Essential

  • Teaching or tutoring experience
  • Recent industry experience in the IT sector

    This is a permanent position and the salary range will be $50,000 - $70,000 depending on skills and experience.

  • APS 5/6 Data Analyst – Tuggeranong Location

    Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join their team on a contract until 30 June 2020 with possible extension. This position will commence early July 2019.

    The successful candidate will work closely with the Agency data team to investigate data incidents and tickets raise, and successful resolve or triage to application development and support teams as required.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Investigate data and EDW issues raised by business areas including the Agency’s Actuarial and data branch
  • Differentiate incidents raised between data issues and application issues
  • Support the ICT CRM application support team with application related issues when required

    The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in wrangling and investigating data, using languages like SQL and SAS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including strong root-cause analysis skills
  • Experience using enterprise data warehouse, preferably using Teradata technologies
  • Experience in data reporting platforms
  • Experience with SAP platform
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate with a non-technical audience

    We are seeking an experienced Marketing Officer to join our Federal Government client based in Geelong, Victoria on a contract until June 2020. This position will commence early July 2019.

    The successful candidate will be joining a newly formed Marketing team to provide marketing solutions and advice to build the reputation and grow awareness about this Agency.

  • Support market research efforts to build awareness about audience requirements, habits and trends

  • APS 4 Executive Assistant – Perth

    Our client, a large Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant at the APS 4 level for a period of 6 months with the possibility of extension.

    Duties will include:

  • Provide high level executive and administrative support to the Branch and State Manager.
  • Act as first point of contact for the Branch and State Manager.
  • Manage the diary and emails of the Branch and State Manager.
  • Arrange appointments, travel and meetings for Branch and State Manager.

    Our Federal Government client, based in Geelong, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their cross-functional development team and be responsible for undertaking analysis of business processes, including facilitating and documenting business process mapping workshops, gathering high level and detailed business requirements, and interfacing with ICT delivery teams to align outcomes to business needs. This is a contract role until February 2020 with the possibility of extension. You may be required to travel interstate in this role.

    In this role you will:

  • Gather information, synthesise and assess existing business processes associated with project deliverables
  • Conduct and facilitate business process mapping workshops, and document business processes
  • Conduct and facilitate business requirements definition workshops, and document high level and detailed business requirements
  • Undertake investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes on for a range of enterprise tools for scheme access and planning
  • Work with stakeholders to align detailed business requirements with the strategic objectives of the project
  • Use modelling and analytical tools, methods and standards to document current and future state processes
  • Produce business focused specifications and acceptance criteria in order to inform the development of technical specifications and system changes
  • Support testing of new systems and processes

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in planning and conducting business system enhancement and development in a large or complex organisation
  • Experience in facilitating business process mapping and requirements development
  • Experience supporting change planning; including stakeholder identification, business impact analysis and change management planning
  • Experience in business analysis management with ICT dependencies
  • Ability to undertake a range of assessments including (but not limited to):

    - Impact analysis

    - Business case preparation

    - Options appraisal

    - Business and Functional requirements specifications

    - Business process documentation (using process mapping languages such as BPMN or UML)

    - Investigation and discussion documents

    - Feasibility studies

    - Cost Benefit Analysis

    - Workshop facilitation (e.g. business process mapping; requirements gathering)

  • ITIL certification and knowledge of BABOK. Experience in user focused techniques (both internal and external) and work practices.
