Our Federal Government client is seeking an APS 5 Delivery and Engagement Officer with robust communication skills to assist and support program management activities.

Your responsibilities:

  • Performing contract management activities including:
  • Ensuring compliance with contracts and guidelines
  • Monitoring the performance of contracts
  • Liaising with stakeholders
  • Providing secretariat and administration functions
  • Conducting performance reporting and providing data analysis to support program management
  • Performing positive stakeholder management and assurance activities
  • Compiling data and undertaking analysis

    Your background:

  • Demonstrated experience in contract management with reporting and data analysis

  • APS 6 Public Liaison Officer

    Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced APS 6 Public Liaison Officer to support senior members of the branch to undertake sensitive work that is of significant public interest. You will have a considerable level of public contact in relation to complex, difficult or sensitive issues and will be representing the branch while liaising with a range of stakeholders.

    This position is a team membership position that may require you to perform team leadership and management responsibilities including setting priorities and managing workflow.

    The successful candidate will be:

  • Performing procedural and administrative functions to support objectives including tracking, monitoring and reporting on stakeholder management interactions and activities
  • Understanding, analysing and interpreting policies, strategies and work plans
  • Providing updates on work outputs, identifying trends and implementing changes

  • APS6 Senior Finance Officer

    Our prominent Federal Government client is currently seeking an APS6 Senior Finance Officer to join their team on a contractual basis. This role may be required to perform work that involves team leadership with supervision or management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities, managing workflows and outcomes of a finance team. You will coordinate and assume responsibility to provide detailed advice and operational support in relation to complex finance issues and problems. You will also be required to coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that support the Department’s objectives.

    Duties will include:

  • Developing plans and objectives for short-term finance projects
  • Setting priorities and ensuring quality outputs for own work and the work area
  • Monitoring emerging financial issues and identifying likely risks and impacts
  • Developing recommendations and solutions to mitigate, correct and prevent reoccurrence of financial risks
  • Coordinate and support others working on a specific finance project or work program

    Mandatory qualifications:

  • Tertiary level qualifications in Accounting or equivalent
  • Posses (or be working towards) membership of CA, CPA or IPA together
  • Relevant direct finance experience

    Our Federal Government client is currently seeking Counsellors to join their office at the APS6 level. Within this role, you will provide high quality clinical services, including assessment and referral, evidence based counselling and case management for clients in order to achieve outcomes.

    Your responsibilities will include;

  • Contributing to the development and delivery of programs as required
  • Maintaining clinical records and collating and analysing data from client records, and preparing reports as required to assist in evaluating and improving service delivery
  • Facilitating the delivery of counselling and other programs by;
  • Applying quality assurance principles and procedures to ensure the clinical practice, reporting and invoicing activities meet requirements
  • Ensuring contracted counsellors and other providers are accessing relevant services, resources and support for clients
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders involved in meeting the identified needs of clients
  • Participating and contributing to ongoing learning and development activities
  • Participating in community development and service promotion activities as required
  • Participating in evaluation and research activities, contributing to project management activities that implement strategic directions and quality improvement recommendations and providing feedback for ongoing development of clinical policies and procedures.

    To be successful in this position, you will possess;

  • Qualifications as an accredited health professional or social worker
  • Qualified health professionals must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA)
  • Social Workers must be registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and hold a Mental Health Accreditation with AASW
  • Preference for mental health professionals including Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers or Mental Health Occupational Therapists
  • Working with Children and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance must be obtained prior to commencement

As the Policy Officer, you will manage and oversee effective governance and business improvement activities for the department’s approach to data management and policy development.

    Your responsibilities will include;

  • Leading the development of the department’s data profession and build staff awareness and understanding about the value and use of data for policy and program management
  • Preparing briefs for the senior executive to support their engagement in data initiatives and activities
  • Reviewing and preparing policy documents for data governance purposes
  • Assessing data access requests from external stakeholders

    To be successful in this position, you will possess;

    Academic qualifications in social sciences and research, law or communications is desirable.

    Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced EL 1 Senior Project Officer to assist the EL 2 Project Leads to implement two data focused projects. You will be required to perform the normal range of project management, reporting and stakeholder management activities for both projects.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Contributing to and supporting project planning sessions and supporting the project staff
  • Defining project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Tracking the progress of both projects and advising on adaptations to work as required
  • Informing the creation of the project timelines
  • Tracking deliverables to ensure the projects meet their deadlines
  • Overseeing project documentation
  • Managing project risks in line with Departmental processes
  • Creating informative reports for executive staff

    Your background:

    Our Federal Government client is currently seeking Regional Security Adviser to join their office at the APS6 level. Within this role, you will provide advice and support to assist in the delivery of the Department’s core deliverables.

    Your responsibilities will include;

  • Providing timely, accurate and appropriate protective security advice
  • Contributing to the development, management and delivery of protective security projects
  • Contributing to responses to a wide range of operational security matters
  • Identifying and reporting emerging security issues/incidents/trends and provide suggested solutions
  • Contributing to the development of security awareness resources and participating in the delivery of face-to-face training sessions to staff Australia-wide
  • Conducting site security reviews at offices Australia-wide

  • Demonstrated experience in Australian Government protective security experience and/or qualifications
