APS 4 and APS 5 Payments Analyst

Our Federal Government client is seeking APS 4 and APS 5 Payments Analysts to join their Payments team. This team is responsible for validating payment claims which involves investigation and collaboration with staff across the organization to assess the validity of payment claims and determine the most appropriate course of action.

Your responsibility:

  • Investigate and track complaints and dispute claims
  • Identify the cause of payment issues and engage with a variety of stakeholders to determine a course of action
  • Track issues from end to end
  • Ensure knowledge of and compliance with legislation, financial and administrative frameworks, government decision making processes and agency guidelines and regulations
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management and risk assessment activities within your sphere of responsibility

    Your background:

  • Demonstrated experience in working within a corporate customer service environment
  • Have strong analytical and evaluation skills
  • Ability to work within a key performance indicator environment
  • Have well developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate in a confidential and sensitive manner

  • APS 5 / APS 6 Data Analyst

    Our Federal Government client is seeking an APS 5 / APS 6 Data Analyst who has a high level of personal drive and integrity to join their Project Delivery Branch to assist with grant management data.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Extract and manipulate data from the Department Grant Management System
  • Undertake data analysis, identify trends as well as anomalies and present findings through reports, tables and charts
  • Provide data input to briefings, presentations and reports
  • Engage with key stakeholders to manage, identify and correct data integrity issues

    Your background:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst within the Government or Private sector
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in using analytical tools including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerBI and Google sheets
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, proof reading and editing with attention to detail
  • Ability to clearly communicate analysis findings

  • APS6 Onboarding Account Manager

    Our prominent Federal Government client is currently seeking an APS6 Onboarding Account Manager to join their team in Geelong, VIC. The Department is implementing a new Digital Partnership Program which will enable, support and encourage third parties to develop a range of apps and tools that provide secure controlled access to selected Departmental data through APIs for the purposes of providing more efficient interfaces with external stakeholders, for their benefit. The Onboarding Account Manager will be responsible for supporting external stakeholders, including digital developers through the new Digital Partnership Office enrolment process. You will be an experienced and innovative professional, with experience in relationship management and engagement functions.

    Duties will include:

  • Be the primary contact for external stakeholders, including software providers engaging with the Department on the Digital Partnership Program
  • Ensure optimal satisfaction is experienced at each interaction of the Digital Partnership Office enrolment process
  • Manage risks associated with stakeholder relationships through a proactive approach
  • Supporting the development and promotion of resources that enable sector development and improve the Department’s understanding external environments and experiences
  • Provide input into ministerial and parliamentary correspondence, briefs etc.
  • Implementing and support the Digital Partnership Office engagement strategies intended to develop market

  • EL1 Assistant Director, Investigations

    Our prominent Federal Government client is currently seeking an EL1 Investigator to join their Melbourne office on a contractual basis. In this position, you will lead internal and external fraud investigations, using your own initiative and discretion in the interpretation of policy and application of practices and procedures. You will work collaboratively with other areas, contributing in the development and implementation of strategies regarding to the fraud response framework.

    Your responsibilities will include;

  • Lead and manage complex and sensitive investigations in accordance with relevant processes
  • Supervising staff, including undertaking recruitment, on-boarding, expenditure and day to day management
  • Collaborating with other teams to develop robust, intelligence-led fraud capability
  • Promoting awareness of the fraud response framework
  • Reviewing and reporting on fraud investigations, providing analysis on the findings and outcomes
  • Providing advice and support to various internal and external stakeholders to enable continuous improvement to the Departments’ fraud resistance
  • Developing initiatives to support business planning, changes in workplace practices and business improvement strategies as required

    To be successful in this position, you will possess the following;

  • Diploma of Government (Fraud Investigations) or equivalent
  • Strong experience in leading fraud response and investigation activities
  • Demonstrated experience providing supervision and coaching to internal staff
  • Competency in applying both traditional and contemporary fraud response and investigative techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and exercise sound judgement in prioritising workload
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • APS6/EL1 Workforce Planner

    Our Federal Government client is currently seeking a Workforce Planner at the equivalent APS6 level to join their team in Melbourne CBD. In this role, you will use Workforce Management to generate workload forecasts to determine the right number of staff to be scheduled in response to workload demand.

    Your duties will include;

  • Analysing data from a range of sources
  • Producing accurate workload forecasts for several client facing teams and for both voice and non-voice contact centres
  • Generate staff schedules using Workforce Management tools to best align with the forecasted workloads and other stakeholder demands
  • Monitor and report on performance of both teams and individual staff against KPIs
  • Use Microsoft Office suite, in particular spreadsheets to analyse data

    To be successful in this position, you will require extensive experience in Workforce Management, with Genesys as the preferred technology. It is also highly desirable that you have experience in a similar role within a government setting.
