Agile Coach

Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Agile Coach to join their team in the development of whole of government architecture and creating a landscape of connected platforms and services. There is a focus on developing architecture frameworks, tools, and capabilities that maximise platforms’ and services’ reuse, design integration and assurance. As the Agile coach, you will focus on driving collaboration across federal, state, and industry sectors. The key outcome will be supporting the use of an appropriate Agile approach to define, align, prioritise and gain endorsement with senior executives and to drive delivery of the workstream deliverables.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Developing the strategy and implementation of the engagement and collaboration approach
  • Guiding when and how it is appropriate to transition from light-weight agile methods to a s Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Providing subject matter expertise, mentoring, coaching and training across the team and broader stakeholder group
  • Applying a combination of coaching and consulting techniques to cross-agency initiatives that are in growth stage
  • Recommending tools for the maturity of the team and product development
  • Presenting to small and large audiences with mixed levels of background and subject matter expertise, tailoring material and approach appropriately

    To be successful in this position, you will possess;

  • Demonstrated experience as an Agile Coach with a mix of coaching and consultation expertise in a cross-organisation environment
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to shape strategic thinking and communicate with influence
  • Formal qualifications in Agile such as Scrum and SAFe

    Experience in enterprise architecture and/or a current active credential as a Professional Certified Coach and listing with the International Coaching Federation would be highly regarded.

Within this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering internal and external communication plans. You will collaborate with business areas to produce high quality content and contribute to the improvement of communications channels to ensure they meet the audience’s needs.

    Your responsibilities will also include;

  • Providing strategic and considered advice to support business areas understand their communication needs
  • Contributing to the development, delivery and review of strategic communications content through established communication channels
  • Supporting the development, implementation, tracking and measurement of communications strategies
  • Preparing high-quality, clear and accessible written content that meets the needs of the desired audience

  • Ability to manage completing priorities in a fast paced workplace and be resilient in a changing environment

    Experience in a similar role within a government context would be highly regarded.

As a digital content specialist, you will assist the government to improve information and services as part of the COVID-19 digital response. You will need outstanding writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complicated information into plain English.

    Your responsibilities will also include;

  • Producing user-centered content in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Assisting in adjusting and maintaining the content strategy for the suite of COVID-19 related products and services
  • Working in a team to deliver app content that meets user needs
  • Performing content and information architecture reviews
  • Updated help topics to respond quickly to the rapidly changing COVID landscape
  • Ensuring content outputs are inclusive and adhere to WCAG 2.1 AA Accessibility guidelines
  • Ensuring there is integration between different content channels

    To be successful in this position, you will possess;

  • Experience delivering content that is simple and easy to read and accessible on all device formats
  • Experience updating, managing and maintaining website content
  • Experience performing content audits, plans and reviews
  • Ability to understand user needs and demonstrate how content decisions support these needs
  • Ability to create content design hypotheses to improve the service

    Experience in using tools and resources (SEO, analytics etc.) to measure the key metrics of content performance plus the ability to learn and adapt to new technology for authoring and publishing content would be highly regarded.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the digital products are meeting the needs of the Agencies stakeholders through a range of engagement activities
  • Lead the development and the delivery of the Agencies communication strategy including social media content
