APS3 Community Liaison Officer

    Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an 2x APS3 Community Liaison Officers to join their team. These positions may be located at either Oxley, Logan or Mount Gravatt locations (details will be confirmed at interview). As the Community Liaison Officer, you will be accountable under general direction to undertake a broad range of straightforward tasks against established team priorities within the Departments procedures and guidance. The position will undertake procedural, clerical, administrative support and operational tasks including some basic research and analysis activities. This is a public contact role and you will be required to communicate with and provide advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also need to have the ability to work cross-culturally.

    Relevant duties will include:

  • Acquire, maintain and apply an understanding of relevant legislation and policies
  • Apply knowledge and skills for administrative and operational tasks by referring to set procedures
  • Perform basic research and analysis to support the work area, mitigating risks that will affect the work area’s outcomes
  • Make administrative and operational decisions based on established parameters and following established procedures and protocols
  • Demonstrate initiative in completing procedural tasks, creating and making minor changes to standard procedures where necessary
  • Communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders and assist in resolving straightforward matters

  • APS 5 Property Coordinator – Multiple national locations

    Our Federal Government client is seeking experienced APS 5 Property Coordinators to assist the Department’s National Property Team with their property scheme rollout project.

    Your responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for staff members regarding property and fleet matters while providing respectful management of all enquiries and issues
  • Providing high level administrative support including building and equipment maintenance, building access, building induction and upkeep of utility rooms
  • Performing site inspections, managing any issues and any WHS recommendations
  • Performing day to day property activities including reporting and following up of issues, liaising with JLL facilities team and tradespeople
  • Performing fleet management duties

    Your background:

  • Demonstrated property management or facilities management experience within the Australian Public Service
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating a number of competing deadlines and enquires
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a virtual team to support the delivery of property activities
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills to the extent necessary to provide effective customer service, resolve disputes and negotiate for positive outcomes.

  • ASO5 – Client Services Manager

    Public sector or not for profit experience highly regarded.

    A community services agency is seeking an experienced Client Services Manager who has had previous experience in social policy, community issues or the not for profit sector. You must have the ability to demonstrate strong negotiation and problem solving skills, and empathy for clients dealing with complex and crisis situations.

    Specific duties include:

  • Client service visits
  • Routine property inspections
  • Monitor case plans
  • Provide input into planning and delivery of services
  • Prepare general correspondence and provide information and draft replies for responses to ministerial correspondence

    You must have a clean driving record and the vacancy is being offered for an initial 6 to 8 weeks with possibility of an extension. The hourly contract rate is around $48 plus superannuation and the role will commence ASAP.

    A current Working With Vulnerable People Check is required for this position.

  • APS5 Change Analyst

    Location: Geelong/Sydney Length: 12 months Hourly rate: $45.74

    Overview: The Change Analyst will work together with the Insurance Support Program Lead, Project Managers and Change Manager to assist with the planning, coordinating and delivery of a detailed and complex change program. Current focus areas include designing and implementing change management activities to ensure the smooth and effective introduction of new processes, assess the impacts of change on staff, scheme participants, partners and other stakeholders, and develop strategies for management. Additionally, the Change Analyst will apply knowledge and expertise to keep up to date with new and emerging change management trends and practices, in order to assist with developing practical solutions to meet business needs.

    There are two positions available Sydney/Geelong

    Duties:

  • Provide insights and input into the development of change management plans that align with the departments Change Management Framework and Change Blueprint
  • Document change impact assessment outcomes to determine the scale of change at the project level and associated business readiness activities
  • Assist in planning for the management of changes affecting the Departments staff and/or participants, partners and other stakeholders
  • Liaise with various internal stakeholders and project areas to assist with the coordination of change management activities
  • Develop and maintain a set of standardised templates, frameworks and change assessment tools to enable consistent change management practices across the Agency
  • Assist in the implementation and deployment of change activities, such as the development of communications artefacts
  • Identify, assess and report possible change risks or issues, as well as recommending treatment strategies
  • Assist with preparation of written briefings and advice to senior leaders and governance bodies on planned change roll-outs
  • Apply project management methodologies to meet deadlines and produce high quality outcomes that address business needs within a complex environment
  • Track and evaluate change management activities and propose recommendations for continuous improvement.

    Requirements:

  • Flexible and responsive to stakeholder needs and demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate in a confidential and sensitive manner and excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • EL 2 – Project Manager

    Our client, a high profile federal government department based in Geelong is seeking an experienced EL 2 Project Manager until the end of June 2020.

    The Project Manager will be instrumental in ensuring that the program team successfully delivers on its program objectives.

    Responsibilities will include however are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Business Lead and Program Manager in project scoping, development, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
  • Managing the effective governance of the program, supervising project activities and ensuring appropriate evaluation of progress.
  • Building and managing collaborative relationships with departmental work groups, regions, and external stakeholders.

    Extensive clinical and/or research experience is required for this position and a deep understanding of disability and its impacts on individuals is essential.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Reviewing complex information by applying the Department’s Act, rules and operational policy settings
  • Collecting and assessing evidence in line with the Department’s policies and processes to help determine the outcome
  • Maintaining relationships with the ability to explain decisions both verbally and in writing in a way that is easily understood
  • Performing database management regarding your findings/ outcomes

    Your background:

  • Demonstrated case assessment experience within the APS
  • Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions within a legislation, law or health field
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to conduct difficult conversations
  • High level of written communication skills
