APS6 Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join an established team in South Canberra responsible for the scheduling of grant rounds. You will be required to monitor the progression of rounds against agreed time frames, holding responsible areas accountable to meet agreed deadlines.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Scheduling grant grounds in consultation with enabling areas
  • Development and maintenance of the Grant Round Management Plans, including managing the Risk, Issues and Action Logs and project reports
  • Attending Selection Oversight Committees, Project Boards and Portfolio Boards as required
  • Supporting the Project Manager in the preparation of routine and ad hoc reports and other papers as required
  • Working with other areas to assist in the design of grant funding rounds

  • APS5 Project Support Officer – Full time/Part time

    Our high profile client is seeking to employ an experienced Project Support Officer to join an established team responsible for shaping the policies surrounding waste management within Australia. This opportunity will be offered on an hourly rate contract through until 30 June 2019 with extension options.

    This role will be responsible for providing project support to the manager of the section with ad hoc tasks as directed. You will be required to work with limited supervision and take responsibility in managing and delivering delegated tasks.

    Your duties will include;

  • Project management and administration tasks
  • Review and reconciliation of invoices for payment
  • Assistance with Senate Estimates Briefs, Questions on Notice, Ministerial Briefs
  • Arrange travel and accommodation
  • Coordinate meetings and events – locally and interstate, including hospitality
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

    To be successful in this role you will possess;

  • Experience providing project support
  • Previous experience with procurement
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • The ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision

  • A high level of initiative and the ability to problem solve as required

  • EL1 Relationship Manager

    Our client, a Federal Government department, is seeking a Relationship Manager for an initial 6 month contract to start ASAP or early January.

    As the Relationship Manager you will liaise directly with representatives of institutions to provide information about policy, legal and financial requirements of the national scheme this branch administers for the Commonwealth. You will ascertain their willingness and preparedness to participate, and guide them through the preparation required for joining the scheme.
