APS6 Data Analyst/Scientist

Our well known Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst/Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will undertake activities including market monitoring through data analysis and where required, model market interventions to meet the organisations’ objectives.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Support the decision making process through analysis of data and reporting on emerging issues
  • Support team members in sourcing, providing modelling and sophisticated analysis of the transactional data
  • Streamline and automate reports to depict market issues and outline emerging trends
  • Assist in the development of artefacts for communicating the teams findings and results to external stakeholders
  • Develop analytical tools and BI solutions in response to business requirements

    To be successful, you will have;

  • Advanced IT system competencies with strong experience in SAS and SQL to manipulate and analyse data
  • Experience conducting data analysis or statistical research to identify emerging trends
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of repeatable & parameter driven analytics dashboards
  • Strong analytical skills to draw on research, evidence and performance reports to assist in the improvement of processes

    Tertiary qualifications in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, physics or related field plus experience in a similar position within a government setting would be highly regarded.

    Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to assist with providing leadership to the project team, assigning responsibilities, managing priorities and to coach and mentor team members as required.

    Your responsibilities will also include;

  • Delivery of senior project management services in accordance with approved governance and in line with the project strategy, following internal policies and guidelines
  • Delivery of complex ICT programs and
  • Hands-on planning, managing and completing projects to ensure that they meet technical and business outcomes
  • Prepare and oversee a range of high quality project and executive briefing documentation

    To be successful, you will have;

  • Demonstrated experience and success in the end-to-end delivery of ICT projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and leadership skills

You will need to have the ability to work flexibly, independenty and as part of a team to support day to day operations. You will have strong writing skills, attention to detail and a great level of customer service.

    Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be a senior member of the team responsible for the designing, building, testing and deployment and integration of technical solutions for online activities. You will also mentor junior team members in the engineering and administration processes.

    In this role, your responsibilities also will include;

  • Working within the team, you will provide specialist technical solutions to facilitate and execute the creation, installation and maintenance of systems
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders to develop complex technical solutions to challenges that may arise
  • Responding to operational technical demands, including outside standard hours of work
  • Provide technical advice to other areas as required to ensure that it aligns with the strategic direction of the organisation

    Your background;
